STEP 1 - Which growing difficulty level do you prefer?
Need some help with this step? Need some help with this step?No matter what type of cannabis you like to grow and consume, we've got you covered!
We have a vast selection of seeds and strains to choose from, but how do you know which ones are the right ones for you?
By answering just four questions, our awesome Marijuana Strain Finder can help you pick the right seeds for you.
STEP 1 - Which growing difficulty level do you prefer?
Easy
Is this your first time growing? If so, pick seeds that our cannabis strain selector considers easy to grow. This will increase your chances of a great yield, even if you're just learning how to grow marijuana. It's the perfect way to practice and achieve satisfying results with minimum effort.
Moderate
Do you know how to grow marijuana but don't have the time or desire to monitor your plants closely? Pick seeds with a moderate difficulty level. You might need extra equipment, more nutrients or a basic understanding of some simple training techniques compared to easy strains. However, you will have a much larger selection to choose from.
Hard
Are you a passionate cannabis-growing pro who isn't afraid of a challenge? Then this choice is for you. You might have to put more work in, but you'll get beautiful plants producing top-quality buds. Note that these strains will almost always need additional time, attention, and often training.
STEP 2 - Regular, Feminized or an Autoflower Feminized?
Regular
Regular seeds are the right choice for experienced growers who can identify the gender of their plants. They are often used by growers who want to create clones of their own. Usually not the right fit for beginners.
Feminized
If you pick feminized seeds in our marijuana seed finder, you won't need to worry about identifying your plants' gender or cross-pollination from male plants. This means all your plants will be bud-producing females, ensuring you utilize your growing space and maximize bud production.
Autoflower feminized
Due to their genetics, autoflower feminized seeds move from the vegetative stage to the flowering stage automatically. This makes the growing process easier compared to feminized and regular seeds, as you don't need to control the light exposure during your grow.

STEP 3 - Indica, Sativa, or Hybrid?
Indica (Stoned)
Indica strains will help you switch off and relax after a tough day. You will feel stoned and likely glued to the couch, lost in your thoughts or a great movie. Indicas are also more likely than other strains in our Marijuana Strain Finder to give you the munchies.
Sativa (High)
You will experience a Sativa high more in your head than in your body. Many Sativa strains are great for social occasions, as they won't put you straight to bed. In addition, some claim Sativas are great for creativity, making them a good choice for artists, writers, musicians, and even philosophers.
Hybrid
Hybrids are strains that contain both Indica and Sativa genetics. Sometimes they even have a bit of Ruderalis in them. Hybrids are a result of breeders crossing various strains combining the indica and Sativa effects, giving you the best of both worlds.
In our article: How to choose the best weed strain, we explain the differences between these types in more detail.
STEP 4 - THC Level: Low, Medium or High?
Low THC
Strains with low THC levels are an excellent choice for first-time and novice users or people who enjoy staying in control. If you have minimal cannabis experience or tend to get high faster than your friends, choose strains with low THC levels.
Medium THC
Medium strength is a good choice for occasional users. A medium-strength strain will provide you with a pleasant and controllable high that will not last longer than you want.
High THC
Have you been smoking for years and enjoy the occasional wake and bake? High THC-level strains are probably what you're looking for. As our bodies get used to THC, low and medium THC levels might not do much for you. If you want to feel an intense and all-consuming high, click on high THC levels.
