When growing the Sativa mix, it is important to remember to not grow them for too long after germination. After placing them into their permanent pot or growing medium such as soil/mapito or slaps, eight days should be enough before putting them on 12/12.
Sativa will continue to grow for another four weeks during the flowering period after which they will become about 170 cm / 67 inch tall indoors.
Let them mature and you will be pleasantly surprised by how compact they will become during the last three weeks of their flowering stage.
At the end of their flowering time, before harvesting, make sure to carefully check the trichomes. When 70% of the trichomes are milky colored they are ready to harvest.
The use of silicon in your medium/ soil or in the nutrients is also an important factor when growing Sativas. it strengthens your plant cells and prevents bud rot in the last three weeks. For your convenience, all the strains in the Sativa mix pack have roughly the same flowering time.
